primary program

Yesterday we had our primary program at church. a friend of ours gave us some really cute clothes that no longer fit her daughter, so sb had a way cute outfit, and since i thought they all looked so daper, i (of course being THAT mom) took pictures. i also took pictres of sb's hair-do. tj was so funny bordering, well actually crossing the irreverent line. but oh well, we didn't have a chance to re-hearse in the actual chapel, so anyways. more things that we need to work on at home i guess. Enjoy!

so what's for dinner? worms and bugers? gotta brush my teeth!

well, the pictures loaded backwards, but anyways, we went to a friend's house sunday for yummy food and friendshipness. and so we ate worms. i got this recipe from my virtual friend, amy .

afterwards, we heard strange noises coming from the bathroom. we found kempton with the water running and trying to use thier toothbrushes to brush his teeth with hand sanitizer. that little kempton.... always keeping us busy!

sleeping angels

I love to watch my babies as they sleep. they're so still, and peaceful. I know that at times they may drive me nuts, but those times are going so fast and i just wish i could hold on to them a little longer. didn't mean to get all sappy. actually i found this quite comical. after checking on the boys i had to get a picture of this. this is how they fell asleep.

But wait just a sec and check out those toes....
oh i love my babyes.

WEEK 3 (already?)

SO the pictures posted backwards, or rather in the friday-monday order rather than the monday to friday order. so. here is friday (purple day) just a simple half pony tail with chains.

Thursday was blue day. i just split her hair down the middle in a zig zag part and used three topsy tails down each side and then brought it together at the end. (not my favorite do, but we were running late.)
also, she was invited to a little boys' birthday party in her class, but it's on sunday. so we let her pick up a little gift for him and then i helped her wrap it and make a card to give to him at school. she enjoyed that.
Wednesday, green day. i just did a french braid across the crown of her head to act as a headband.
Tuesday (maybe my favorite!) orange day. on monday we did corkscrews so we took that out and it was curly, so i just parted a little bit, put in a pony tail, added a couple of headbands, and a big flower that i got from somewhere. i'll remember later. ;)
Monday was yellow. two pony tails into corkscrews with ribbon holders. sorry just one cheesey picture. So, if you would cast your votes! and can you believe, still not a duplicated do yet!

Week 2!

I'm that mom. i've been so excited about this day since the day in december 2003 when we found out we were having a girl. i love to do hair. and now that sb has a place to go where her "done hair" will be appreciated, we have taken quite the task to figure out how to do it each and every day. so far after 9 days of school she has not had any repeats. in case your wondering how do i find time to do this, i do it while she eats breakfast. it normally takes between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the "do" and my expertise! i've gotten a lot of my inspirations from the hair blogs on the right side of my blog (scroll down to see) but most of what i do is just a compilation of ideas and what we feel like doing that day.

I will have more from the first week when i get access to those files... long story. and i will blog more when i have time... even longer story.
happy day to everyone(whoever reads this i guess!)
p.s. still having issues with paragraphing, so suggestion, or help is greatly appreciated, AND i'm curious to know how you like sb's hair. maybe leave a comment with which one for the week was your favorite?
